What got you started into photography?

Basically it started as something to do when I first moved to Baltimore. It took me quite a few years before I developed a style and a sense of purpose for my work. What started as a hobby has become an integral part of my life.

Camera gear?

I’ve gone a little bit overboard through the years in acquiring camera equipment. Some of that has been due to a fascination on my part with mechanical cameras as objects, but it also relates to my explorations of film photography and different ways to take pictures. While I use a lot of different cameras to achieve different things, cameras like my Leica M3, Super Ricohflex, Yashica Mat, Rolleiflex and Airesflex have been used most over the last couple of years. I recently acquired a Mamiya C330 that I plan to use more for night photography.
